Nomads Netball Club

Nomads are a friendly Cheltenham based netball club who play for the Gloucestershire Netball County League. We have approximately 25 members supporting our two adult teams.

We train every Wednesday in Cheltenham and are a fun group of ladies with a passion for all things netball!

We are always looking for new players so have a look around the website to find out more and get in touch if you are looking for a new team.

History

Nomads was founded in the 1980s. The then ‘Cheltenham Civil Service Club’ became too big and some of the girls broke away to form a new club. The new team had no training location and no court to call their own, so Nomads seemed an appropriate name.

They later expanded to make another team which they called Wanders. As time passed the club renamed the teams to Nomads A and Nomads B which still stands to this day.
